I am Hollie-Mae Powell, a British self-taught artist working between abstraction and realism. My work is driven by a love of colour, texture, and experimentation, resulting in bold, expressive pieces that feel dynamic, layered, and alive.
Using acrylics on box canvas, I combine vibrant and fluorescent hues with metallic, neutral, and monochrome tones to create depth, movement, and contrast. Each piece evolves through an intuitive process, embracing spontaneity and individuality -ensuring no two works are ever the same.
I welcome bespoke commissions and enjoy collaborating on unique pieces, adapting my style while continually pushing creative boundaries. Whether collected as a statement artwork or created as a personal commission, my work is designed to bring energy, emotion, and presence into a space.

If you're looking for a particular size/colour to suit your space, you've come to the right place - a custom commissioned artwork is a great option for a perfect, bespoke art piece made just for you.
I have created many bespoke artworks to suit homes around the world, working closely with the individual clients to produce their dream piece that still remains to the HM art signature style.
For a commission, I have a really easy process - I only require 50% down deposit which will be non refundable, and the rest of payment can be completed when painting is finished. To start, we will discuss what your needs are. When we agree on size, design, colours and price, I'll begin your bespoke art piece.
When completed, I will forward over some images for approval (I'm 100% more than happy to make additional changes to make sure you're perfectly satisfied) then we can complete the remaining payment.
